Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the targeting of the East-West Pipeline in the Riyadh and Madinah regions by several drones coming from Iraq.

According to the ministry, the attacks resulted in injuries and some damage, which authorities are working to address.

The Foreign Ministry’s statement follows an earlier announcement by the Saudi Ministry of Energy, which said the East-West Pipeline had been targeted several times on Thursday morning, September 10, resulting in the suspension of the pipeline.

Emergency response teams and specialized technical teams were deployed to secure the pipeline and verify its safety in coordination with the relevant authorities.
