Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has said the government will not allow Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to enter Islamabad and disrupt law and order, warning that authorities would take measures to stop the party.

Speaking to Geo News, Tarar said that “no matter what happens,” PTI would not be allowed to come to Islamabad and disturb the law-and-order situation, adding that the government would stop the party “with full force.”

The information minister accused PTI of failing to hold peaceful protests in the past and urged the party to reconsider its approach.

“They should come to their senses, otherwise they will face something they will always remember,” Tarar said.

Tarar Comments on Arrest of Imran Khan’s Sisters

Tarar also said that the sisters of former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan had been arrested on what he described as “credible information” that they could disrupt law and order.

His remarks came amid heightened political tensions surrounding PTI’s planned protest and increased security measures in Islamabad.

Minister Rules Out Talks With PTI Figures

Tarar also questioned who within PTI had the authority to negotiate on behalf of the party.

“Who should we talk to in PTI? Who is in charge and who is the decision-maker?” he asked.

He claimed that PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan had little influence within the party and questioned the authority of other PTI figures seeking dialogue.

Tarar said he saw no justification or benefit in negotiations with them, arguing that the government could not rely on their commitments.
