Imran Khan Undergoes Medical Examination at Adiala Jail

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan underwent a medical examination at Adiala Jail, with doctors conducting various health tests, according to jail sources.
A special medical team that arrived at Adiala Jail to examine Khan completed the check-up and later departed from the facility, the sources said.
The medical team conducted a comprehensive examination, including checks of his blood pressure, cholesterol levels and eyesight, according to the jail sources.

The sources said a team of specialist doctors from PIMS had previously conducted a medical examination of Khan at Adiala Jail as well.
Background:
Imran Khan, Pakistan’s former prime minister and founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was arrested on August 5, 2023, following his conviction in the Toshakhana case. Since then, he has remained in custody while facing multiple cases, including those related to corruption, state secrets and the Al-Qadir Trust. Several of the cases and convictions have been challenged in court, with some proceedings resulting in relief or suspension. Khan is currently incarcerated at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.
