Saudi Arabia’s KSrelief Launches Third Phase of Madad Project in Sudan
The assistance forms part of Saudi Arabia’s continuing humanitarian and relief efforts through KSrelief to support the Sudanese people and alleviate the impact of the humanitarian situation in the country.
Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched the third phase of its Madad project in Sudan for 2026, dispatching 40 aid trucks to support displaced and crisis-affected communities across the country.
According to KSrelief, the trucks departed for North Kordofan, Blue Nile, White Nile, Khartoum and Kassala, carrying 26,240 shelter kits and 6,652 hygiene kits.
The latest shipment is expected to benefit around 148,000 people, helping displaced families and other communities affected by Sudan’s continuing humanitarian crisis meet their basic needs.
More Than Two Million People Expected to Benefit
The wider Madad initiative aims to provide food baskets, shelter materials, humanitarian assistance and dates to vulnerable and affected families across Sudan.
KSrelief said the project is expected to reach more than two million people across 12 Sudanese states, expanding humanitarian support to communities affected by displacement and the ongoing crisis.
