Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi held a telephone conversation with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, during his official visit to Beijing, Iran’s state news agency IRNA reported.

The phone call took place on Wednesday in Beijing, where Araqchi discussed the latest regional developments and issues of mutual interest with Field Marshal Asim Munir.

The conversation comes amid continued diplomatic engagement between Pakistan and Iran on regional security and political developments, with Islamabad maintaining contacts with Tehran as tensions persist across the wider Middle East.
