The Saudi-led coalition has announced that its air defence systems intercepted and destroyed three ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi militia towards Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Region, along with four unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) targeting the Kingdom’s Southern Region.

According to statements issued by the coalition, air defence forces successfully intercepted and destroyed all three ballistic missiles before they could reach their intended targets in the Eastern Region.

In a separate announcement, the coalition confirmed that four drones launched by the Houthi militia towards the Southern Region were also intercepted and destroyed.

The coalition attributed both attacks to the Houthi militia operating from Yemen.

A total of seven aerial threats, including three ballistic missiles and four drones, were neutralised in the two incidents.

The statements did not provide details about the specific locations targeted or report any casualties or damage.

The interceptions come amid continued security concerns over Houthi missile and drone attacks targeting Saudi territory.

The coalition has maintained its air defence operations to counter aerial threats and protect the Kingdom’s security.
