WASA Managing Director said staff and heavy machinery had been deployed in low-lying areas of Rawalpindi to respond to any flooding or drainage problems caused by the rainfall.

According to WASA, the water level was recorded at five feet at Katarian and two feet at Gawalmandi Bridge.
Authorities continued to monitor rainfall and water levels as wet weather persisted across the twin cities.
