U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee has said there is no U.S.-backed plan to force Palestinians to leave Gaza. His comments came after proposals by two Israeli ministers calling for the mass removal of Palestinians from the territory.
Huckabee’s statement appears aimed at clarifying Washington’s position as diplomatic efforts surrounding Gaza continue. The issue remains highly contentious, with the humanitarian situation and the future administration of Gaza continuing to dominate international discussions.
