KSrelief Dialysis Centre in Somalia Serves 291 Patients

A dialysis centre at Banadir Hospital in Mogadishu, Somalia, provided medical services to 291 patients during August 2026 with support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief).

According to KSrelief, 166 patients underwent 1,025 scheduled dialysis sessions and nine emergency dialysis sessions during the month, while 125 patients received consultations and medical examinations at the nephrology clinic.

Males accounted for 61% of the patients, while females made up 39%. Displaced persons represented 9% of the beneficiaries, compared with 89% who were residents and 1% who were refugees.
